We are a approved supplier with most of the major supplier of mobility products in the UK, including a Stannah stairlifts partnership. We provide a wide range of products to suit most customers’ specific needs: Stairlifts, electric mobility scooters, manual and electric wheelchairs, adjustable profiling beds and specialist homecare, hospital style beds, riser / recliner armchairs, walking frames and bathlifts. In addition to these products, we also have a range of moving and handling equipment, public access accessories (such as wheelchair ramps), public access lifts and platform lifts. We also offer great value on used and reconditioned items at low prices (subject to availability). 1st Step Mobility was one of two UK companies awarded a contract to supply loan mobility equipment for visitors to use at the 2012London Olympics. Our part was to supply around 250 wheelchairs and 120 scooters to 14 different venues in and around London. We were very proud of this achievement and it was a result of a lot of hard work and dedication to meet the standards required to become a games supplier.
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is the UK’s oldest and largest healthcare association, founded in 1917. As Seen On TV
1st Step Mobility installed a stair lift for the Nightly Show (with Davina McCall) which was broadcasted on Thursday 16th March 2017. The broadcast was a parody of the Indiana Jones films called ‘Indiana Jones and the Electric Stairlift’. The stairlift was installed and then removed a few day later after the filming was complete.
